This is an experimental "multiscale 12 string
baritone in all octave tuning".
The first and second pair strings are normally
unisons but these are also octaves. So, there is no discontinuous transition
from 6th to 1st pair strings. (It's not my invention. Kevin
Kastning uses this tuning with his Santa Cruz Extended 12 string Baritone.
http://www.kevinkastning.com/DKK-12.htm)
The scale length is relatively short 22.7" ~ 25.5"
and tuned to G-G(or A-A) and considered as a
baritone guitar.
It sounds more like a harp and it's cleaner than
standard 12 string guitar.
- scale length: 22.7" ~ 25.5" (0~12th fret x 2)
- saddle front edge: 22.58"(1st string) ~ 25.65(11th string)"
